摘 要
随着英语在小学阶段的开展,教学改革的推进,很多科学而又有效的教学方法展现在课堂教学中。游戏教学法就是一种新颖且极又效果的教学方法。
兴趣是学好语言的关键,激发学生学习英语的兴趣是小学阶段英语教学的一项重要任务。英语游戏教学符合小学生的生理和心理特点,有助于提高学生学习兴趣、记忆力和综合运用语言的能力,从而提高教学效率。在游戏教学活动中,孩子们乐于参与,乐于学习,领悟了学习的喜悦,获得了成功经验的满足。真正意义上在“学中玩,玩中学”

With English carrying out in primary schools and teaching reforms promoting, lots of scientific and efficient teaching methods appear in claroom teaching.Game

Ⅰ.Introduction In recent years, the foreign language teaching theory specially emphasis on stimulating students' interest in study, streed the need to let students in relaxed and pleasant atmosphere of learning foreign languages.They advocate natural teaching method, teaching method and its function of emotion method, especially in recent years, the rise of TPR(whole body action teaching method)exerted great influence on English teaching inour country.The primary school English teaching and textbook outline “points out, the interest is the key to learn language learning, and stimulate students', interest in English is a important task in the primary school English language teaching.English teaching must pay attention to combined with children’s psychological and physiological characteristics, to cause the learning interest of the students.In English teaching , appropriate game is hepful to cultivate the students' interest, in line with ”happy“ principle.The game teaching methods emphasizes the students' subjectivity, students are required to participate in, not the teachers sing stand-up, embodies the dominant and the students' subject teachers function.Game teaching method accords with primary students' physical and psychological characteristics.Pupils are lively and active with the character of loving performance, few shy, being willing to accept new and interesting thing, teacher's teaching methods can directly affect the students in learning.The use of involuntary attention of the game is helpful Undergraduate Graduation Thesis

The game is a very popular concept, but, for what is the game, different people define differently, Spodek Bernard & Saracho Olivia(1994:271)demonstrated that:games are a different of play activity, They are highly structured and include special rules to be followed..Similarly ,Jill Hadfield(1984)defined game as “an activity with rules,a goal and an element of fun.”
From above,we can understand games are structured playe activties organized around specific rules.according to longman dictionary of language teaching & applied linguistics explanation, ”game“ is a kind of teaching activities, And general activity is different, the game has the following properties: a,a particulau task or objective,b.a set of rules,c.competition between players ,d.communication between players by spoken or written language(Richards,J.C,et al.,1991)2.Literature Review A,the history and present situation of game teaching in foreign countries

School of Foreign Language research center of children’s education-kindergarten in Gulou.Many games there were full of creation.He expounded that games were activties that were benefial to children’s pschological and physiological development.Only games could make children lively and teachers should make good use of all kinds of game marterials and give them enough changees to practice according to their age.Hu Shuyi,another educator who encouraged children to play games more than seventy years ago.From modern age to the contemporary, game teachingtheory has been improved step by step.Many educators,philosophers or thinkers encourged children to play games ,such as Hong Zirui.Hui Youlian and Li Shengping et..They presented games should be intergrated with learning.Now,more and more people abroad and at home come to realize the importance and the urgency of game teaching in the primary school.As we know ,game teaching is a very useful way to improve effectivene of English teaching in primary school.Ⅲ.Ⅳ.The Function of Game Teaching The Game teaching methodology refers to that the teachers make use of differnt kinds of game activities to create the needed teaching scenes so that the students can understand and apply the knowledge.It can inspire students’ cognition from several aspects;enhance their enthusiasm and the awarene of participating.And the cla teaching effect will be greatly improved as the game teaching method applies to the cla teaching.1.It helps to develop and enhance students' interest in learning English

The purpose of we learning knowledge is to make better use of knowledge, and this was particularly prominent in language teaching.The teaching contents of English teaching materials are placed in a certain language environment.We set up a feasible and appropriate language context according to the specific content of teaching materials and our proceing and students will naturally play their own part under teacher’s guidance.For instance, in the units of shopping of the textbook of Grade Four, teachers can design the claroom as a shop based on the vocabulary and dialogues in these units.Learning in the designed situation and using in the context have students not only understand the meaning of dialogues more clearly but also allow them to experience personally on the scene.In this way their interests are to be aroused and they will then be absorbed in claroom to learn new knowledge.3.It helps students to master knowledge and comprehending the difficulties
Some key points and difficult points when conveyed directly are quite drab and boring in English teaching materials.Students may not be able to understand them, but it is will be easier for students to learn when those are put in a certain language context.For example, in the first unit of the textbook of Grade Five, there is a dialogue of “Who’s your math teacher? Mr.Zhao.What's he like? 6.音乐性游戏
音乐性游戏包括歌曲,诗歌等。音乐是人类表达情感的一种形式,音乐对激发人的情感及建立健全的人格都会产生重要的影响,用美的旋律,美的意境去配合英语教学可以使学生产生高尚的情操,形成积极向上的精神,培养好学的品质,促使学生的人格升华。《牛津小学英语》的新教材加入了部分歌曲,小诗,它们旋律简单,音韵优美,或明快活泼,或悠扬动听,配合语言情景,形成意境,使学生乐于模仿,容易掌握。
音乐游戏可放在教学的各个环节,可放在课前唱一两首Eglish songs.或有节奏的朗诵一首English poem,使学生较快的投入课堂学习中去,课堂教学中,音乐性游戏可以集中学生学习的注意力,放在课堂教学快结束是,可以消除学生的疲倦感。在进行音乐游戏是,可以配上适当的动作,通过歌声营造课堂气氛,使学生无意中达到学习知识的目的。
例如:Hello,How are you,you are my sunshine,Try to find friend,等等,都是深受学生喜爱的英语歌曲。
