of Furong District in Changsha
浏正街小学创建于1946年，距今已经有63年的校史。
Liuzheng Street Primary School was founded in 1946.It has a history of 63 years.学校位于长沙市的老城区，校园面积为5086.18平方米。
The school is located in changsha old town.The area is 5086.18 square meters.现在拥有学生531名，12个教学班。每班学生最少38人，最多51人。Now there’re 530 students and 12 claes.There’re 38 pupils at least and 51 pupil at most in each cla.学校主要招收附近的城市居民孩子、来城市工作的农民家庭孩子和其他流动家庭的孩子。
The school enrolls the children nearby, the farmers’ children whose parents work in the city and other turnover pupils.现在，这些家庭孩子在校的比例分别约为39%、44%、17%.学习困难的孩子有极少数，但没有行动障碍的学生。
Now the proportion of the children from these families is about 39 percent, 44 percent and 17 percent.A very few of pupils have learning difficulties, but there are no pupils have action problem.学校还有2位来自台湾的孩子，他们是兄弟。来我们学校半年，他们的学习、娱乐已经融入班级学生之中。
There’re 2 children from Taiwan ,they’re brothers.They have been here for half a year, so they have been integrated into the cla happily.学校对本市居民孩子和学区范围内的农民家庭孩子实行免费入学，同时还免费提供2套校服；其他非本市居民家庭孩子和非学区范围内的流动家庭孩子，则每学期收取少量学杂费。
It’s free entrance for the children who live in Changsha Cityor the farmer families belong to school district.We also give them 2 sets of uniforms for free.Other children who don’t live in Changsha City or turnover children have to pay a little tuition fee each term.但是如果属于特殊困难的家庭，则也可以申请免费入学。
But if it is a very difficult family, they can apply free entrance.学校有97名教师，其中61名退休教师，36位在校教师（31位在编在岗教师和5位代课教师）。
There’re 97 teachers in our school.But 61 were retired teachers, 36 are in-service teachers, including 5 substitute teachers.36位教师中，1位为湖南省特级教师、27位为小学高级教师，25人本科学历，5人大专学历。
One of them is a Provincial Special-Grade teacher, and 27 teachers are senior teachers, 25 teachers have got Bachelor Degree, and 5 teachers have got College Degree.学校有3栋教学楼。除了12间班级教室以外，还有美术教室、信息教室、音乐教室、科学教室、图书阅览室、少先队队室、体育器材室、仪器陈列室、卫生室、多媒体教室、乒乓球馆、心理咨询室等等教育教学功能教室。
There’re 3 claroom buildings in our school.Besides there’re 12
clarooms here, there’re also all kinds of function rooms, such as Art Claroom, Computer Claroom, Music Claroom, Science
Claroom, Reading Room, Young Pioneers’ Room, Apparatus Room, Equipments Showroom, Clinic, Multimedia Claroom, Table Tennis Gym and Psychological consultation Room.这些功能教室将在今年暑假整体设计、装修。
These function rooms will be designed and decorated this summer holiday.从2001年开始，学校就整体装备了现代教育技术设备，成为了省、市现代教育技术实验学校。
We have got lots of modern education technology and equipments since 2001, and we became a Provincial Modern Education
Technology Experimental School.现在学校拥有校园网站，每间教室拥有计算机、电视机、投影仪，每间教师办公室拥有2台计算机。多媒体教学手段已经进入日常课堂教学。
Now we have a campus website---.There’s a computer, a TV and a projector in each claroom.And there’re 2 computers in every teacher’s office.The multimedia teaching method has entered into the daily claroom teaching.2005年，学校参加湖南省电化教学馆组织的现代教育“十五”规划课题，所开展的《在网络技术环境下，培养学生自主探究能力》课题经过三年研究，获得了省优秀课题的好成绩。
In 2005, we joined Provincial Modern Education “tenth five-year plan” period project.Our topic was How to Cultivate the Students’
Autonomic Inquiring Learning under the Network Techonology
Enviorment.After 3 years’ researching, we got a good grades of provincial excellent project.学校开设语文、数学、英语、科学、美术、音乐、信息、体育、品德与生活（社会）、综合实践、生命与健康等11门课程。
We have offered 11 curriculums include Chinese, Mathematics,English, Science, Art, Music, Computer Imformation, PE(Physical Education), Morality and Life(Society), Integrative Practical Activities, Life and Health.每班1名班主任，主管学生的班级生活、行为品行和校园活动组织等工作。
Every cla has a head teacher who charges the cla life, pupils’ behavior and orgnizes the school activities.除了实施以上11门课程教育教学以外，浏正街小学还有少年武警、印象色彩美术和乒乓球等三项特色教育教学。
Besides 11 curriculums, there’re 3 Characteristic Educations in our school.They’re Young Police School, Impreion Coloring Art and Table Tennis Training.少年武警是在1992年开始，学校和地方武警部队联合开展军民共建联谊活动所建立的特殊教育阵地。主要进行锻炼意志、增强体魄，提高生存技能等方面进行教育。
Young Police School was established in 1992.It is a special education position where school and local armed police can hold parties.Young Police School education is about exercising will, strengthening physique and improving survival skills.印象色彩美术教育是从2002年开始实施的特色教育活动，对全校学生实施油棒画、水粉画的教学。
Impreion Coloring Art was explored in 2002.The characteristic education is about oil paintings and gouaches.从2008年开始，我校与省博物馆联合开展绘画教育，重点着眼中国文化和湖南本土文化，引导孩子用自己的童心和画笔来表达湖湘底蕴和中华精神。
Since 2008, it has connected with Chinese culture and Hunan local culture.It guides children to use their childishne and brushes to describe Huxiang culture and expreions.2002—2008年，学生参加各级各类绘画比赛，有393人获奖，其中全国级奖励294人。
From 2002 to 2008, there’re 393 students have received all kinds of rewards, including 294 national rewards.去年我校学生参加湖南省博物馆组织的欧洲19世纪“古典与唯美”经典油画展，开展了“接过大师的画笔”创作活动，有20幅学生的绘画被省博物馆同期展出。
Last year, 20 pupils’oil paintings were shown in the Hunan Provincial Museum.The name of the exhibition was Claical and Aestheticism in the 19th century of Europe.乒乓球是2002年实施的特色培训，当年成为芙蓉区唯一的乒乓球训练基地。
Table Tennis training started in 2002.It was the only table tennis training base in Furong District.学校拥有2名教练，常年有20—25名专业训练队员。拥有一个360平方米的专业乒乓球训练馆，室外还有大约200平方米的乒乓球娱乐活动场地。
There’re 2 table tennis coaches and 25 players in our school.There’s a profeional ping-pong gym in our school.The area is 360 square meters.And there’s an outdooor table tennis entertainment venues.The area is about 200 square meters.从2007年开始，学校对乒乓球培训实行校本课程开发，普及全校每位学生，每周一节课进入体育课堂实施教学。
Table tennis training was developed into a school-based curriculum in 2007.In our school, every cla has a ping-pong leon every week.2002—2008年，学校一共获得长沙市青少年乒乓球比赛团体冠军8次，亚军8次。
The table tennis players of our school have obtained many
achievments from 2002 to 2008, such as 8 Municipal Organizations Champions and 8 Runner-ups.
