今天，云浮市260多万人民敞开热情的胸怀、以最隆重的仪式，欢迎来自海内外参加第二届中国（云浮）国际石材科技展览会的朋友。此时此刻，洋溢在我们心中的是结识新朋的喜悦，重逢老友的欢乐。有朋自远方来，不亦乐乎！在此，我谨代表中共云浮市委、云浮市人民政府欢迎各位的到来！Honored leaders, Distinguished guests, Ladies & Gentlemen,Thank you very much for your kind attending this reception hosted by the People's Government of Yunfu Municipality.Today, the 2.6 million Yunfu People, with open arms and the grandest ceremony, extend welcome to all friends attending the 2nd China(Yunfu)International Stone Fair.At this moment, we are so glad to make new friends and so happy to meet again the old ones, just as the old Chinese saying goes, “How happy we are, to meet friends from afar”!
I, hereby, on behalf of the Peoples' Government of Yunfu Municipality, hail warm welcome to all those present!
近几年，我市坚持以加快发展为目标，以深化改革为动力，以扩大开放为突破口，走珠三角经济区延伸发展的路子，积极吸纳经济发达国家和地区产业转移，大力发展民营经济，经济社会快速协调发展。2003年GDP比上年增长13.1%；全社会固定资产投资增长42.1%；外贸出口总额增长37.3%；实际吸收外商直接投资增长60%；地方财政一般预算收入增长30.7 %。有在建或已签约项目投资总额380多亿元。高效廉洁政府建设初见成效，社会文化各项事业取的重大进展。
During the past several years, aiming to develop faster, driven by deepening reform and more opening to the outside world, Yunfu has been taking the road for development as an extension of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, actively receiving the industrial transfer from the developed countries and regions, and greatly promoting the private economy.As a result, Yunfu has developed its economy and social undertakings in harmony.In 2003, the GDP of Yunfu increased by 13.1% over the previous year, the total fixed aet investment of the whole society by 42.1%, total value of foreign export by 37.3%, foreign investment in actual use by 60%, and local financial revenue of general budget by 30.7%.Contracted investment projects and those under construction have reached a value of over 38 billion RMB Yuan.High efficient and upright government system has come into being.Great progre has been achieved in social and cultural undertakings.各位嘉宾，朋友们！目前，我市正在加快建设“山区经济强市”步伐，开放的云浮需要海内外朋友一如既往的关心和支持，让我们携手并进，共创美好未来！
