Hello,everyone.It's my honor to stand here and give the speech.Last Thursday there were some problems with my preparation and I was that ungelivable.But today I hope you enjoy my speech.My speech today is about Suicide act of college students.A bit serious but of some significance in my view.The four speakers in previous to me all did good jobs,which put me under great preure.But I won't commit suicide because of this,for I am psychologically healthy to some degree.About two months ago,a news shocked us that three students of Huazhong University of Science and Technology jumped down from the building in 9 days.Many of us paed the third one，Zhang Chengjie's last meage in RenrenNet.He said ,“I left in a hurry.Earthmen,farewell”,which made me sigh a lot._____________________
According to the survey conducted by Beijing Psychological crisis and Prevention Center , China has about 287,000 people died of Dutch acts every year, in addition to about 2,000,000 Dutch act attempters.At present, suicide rate around the world every year is about 1/10,000;while the rate in universities of China is 2/10,000.This number is 2 ~ 4 times the rate of other young groups.And worse more,there is a trend to rise.According to concerning reports, More than 25% of college students once had the idea of Dutch act.College students have become the high-risk population of Dutch act.College students' suicide acts account for about 11% of that in whole China.The data above makes us sad.What I want to ask is,why did so many students make the determination to say goodbye to the world and all the people who love them?
The survey gave us the researchers' discovery.Mental disorder, physiological disorders, learning and employment preure, emotional frustration, economic difficulties and family misfortune, is the leading causes of college students' Dutch act.___________________________

With the increasingly fierce competition, the students self expectation is climbing higher and higher, which leads to some psychosocial vulnerable students in the face of difficulties and setbacks.The failure is extremely easy to lose confidence, and they sometimes blindly choose to commit suicide as a solution.The school should strengthen the student life and psychology education, telling students that ending the life is extremely irresponsible for family and themselves.Also, some people pointing out: university should strengthen the students' psychological counseling.For example, in
accordance with international practice, each of the 1000 students, will be equipped with a psychologist, but in our country, 5000 college students, also cannot have a psychologist.At the same time,family education plays a important role in students' growth proce.___________________
From my point of view,mental disorders, physiological disorders, learning and employment preure, emotional frustration, economic difficulties and family misfortune and so on, are just the specific incentives, rather than the fundamental reason.The most fundamental reason is what? In other words, it's our culture deviation.Chinese people is different from Europeans and Americans,who canleisurely see a psychological doctor and accept the psychological consultation.Once a person has been found to go to the psychological consultation room or psychological clinic, there may be people around him may be seen as a problem, or an unnormal person.This will bring serious effect to his employment promotion, love, making friends and so on.It is caused by China 's national habits , and in short term,it may not be changed.To solve this problem,simple education is not enough.What we need is universal education on psychology,which makes the whole society accept psychological suffer and help them.Last but not least,I hope everyone here keep good psychological healthy and treasure your lives.Everyone is to meet with difficulty.When you have psychological problems,come to others,such as your
friends,your parents,your teachers,or just a psychological doctor.Sinceyou have the courage to commit suicide,why don't you have the courage to live through all these challenges given by your unique fortune?
