Students read, write and speak out and understand Australia.Learn about Australia's capital city, language, location, flags.教学难点:Can use a few words about Australia, and the flexible use of language.教学准备: Picture of a world map, a map of Australia, Australia flag, kangaroos, beaches and other electronic slides.教学过程:

2014-10-18 本节课是冀教版小学英语第五册第14课《Australia》。本单元主要讲的是我们的祖国和几个说英语的国家,是第一单元我的家庭的继续,也是下一个单元北京之旅的铺垫。而本节课主要是在学生掌握了一定的日常用语,了解了一些国家知识的基础上,以澳大利亚的相关知识为背景,学习描述美丽富饶的澳洲,并在此基础上将教学内容进行适当的扩展和延伸。在本节课教学中,我很注意培养学生的学习兴趣,运用电脑展示美丽的世界各国及其首都,让学生进行观察对话;其次,培养学生利用所学的句型进行交际的能力。最后,设计的游戏争当小记者培养学生的合作、互助能力及语言的综合运用能力,以发展学生的思维,着眼于培养学生创新意识。
学生感知体验、主动参与、探究发现、交流合作的学习方式,让学生在语言实际运用中感受成功的喜悦。多媒体在创设情境、引入新课方面为学生创造了良好的氛围,有了电脑的支持,教学中就可以做到因人而异,让学生根据自身情况自主选择,真正体现“以人为本”的课程理念;有了电脑的支持,就能调动学生多个感官等方面得天独厚的优势;有利于让所有学生参与学习,让所有学生有学习兴趣,让所有学生学有所获!总之,本节课的设计力求以学生为主体,以任务为中心,以活动交流为主要形式,放手让学生自己去发现讨论并解决问题。不足之处是复习时间较长,语言交流与练习时间不够充足,今后教学中应精心设计教学环节。
