单元教学内容主要围绕假期经历、人口问题、社会问题展开。本单元的设计有着很好的现实意义，假期经历为载体，引导学生正确的认识现实社会，体验现实社会的优越性，我国在改革开放以来，取得了举世瞩目的成就，国民经济发展迅猛，基础设施建设成果斐然，人民生活质量不断提高，各项社会事业蓬勃发展，期通过本单元的学习培养学生热爱祖国心系社会的高尚情怀。

Ask some students about their holiday to review the simple past tense
