一、教学内容
外研社《英语》小学三年级起点第八册M8 Unit1 Helen Keller。
二、教学目标：
1、知识目标
通过创设情景和大量练习，让学生能够谈论现在和过去所具备和不具备的能力。
2、能力目标
在完成知识目标的基础上,通过反复阅读和大量练习,培养学生的阅读能力和综合运用语言知识的能力。
3、情感目标
通过学习Helen Keller的优秀事迹,让学生学有所得,学有所悟,希望她的精神能激励和教育我们的学生在任何时候遇到艰难都永不退缩。
4、策略目标
通过课前预习、课上互动、课下交流反思,老师和学生互敬互学,师生关系十分融洽。
三、教学重点与难点
重点:学生能够用“could,couldn’t”来描述过去所具备和不具备的能力。
难点:学生能够流利地使用正确时态来描述自己的能力,能够复述Helen Keller的伟大事迹。

本节课位于第十二册书的后半部分，学生即将完成小学的英语学习，在英语知识的学习上已经掌握基本方法，大部分学生有700-800的词汇积累和良好的英语语感，只有少部分还存在一些困难，这只能说是历史造成的，不过我仍旧不放弃任何一个传授对象，充满耐心地鼓励他们。本节课在知识上没有太大难度，只是注意一下动词的原型和过去式以及用can, can’t, could, couldn’t来表达现在和过去所具有和不具有的能力就可以了。教授本课，我更加注重的是它的教育性，因为现在的孩子根本不知道珍惜生活，缺少爱心。借此课的传授，与Helen Keller相比，我想孩子们的很多想法会有所改变，他们会意识到他们现在是多么的幸福，确实应该珍惜今天的幸福生活，更加认真做事，努力学习。我想本课的教育性远远大于它的知识性，所以我紧紧地抓住这一点，也真切地在每个环节渗透这一点。
